I'm pleased you dig the skeleton, Rex and Brian. Truth be told, I just drew a skeleton and then equipped him like a figure on the cover of an old module for Dungeons & Dragons. I guess the poor fellow didn't survive the adventure therein. ;)
I favor the evil cleric. She looks just as I hoped!
Taking on prose book (rather than comic book) characters would be fun and an interesting challenge, Jake. I bet it'd be great fun to draw stuff from Poul Anderson's The Broken Sword or Three Hearts and Three Lions.
Glad you folks like these! I certainly enjoyed drawing them. You may see more, in time.
I love your fantasy characters. It'd be great to see you take on the hobbit, and design all the characters therein.
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteS.
I would be dead.
ReplyDeleteFANTASTIC!
LOVE this new stuff Jon!
ReplyDeleteReally cool designs, Jon! That skeleton guy is great!
ReplyDeleteYou're killin' it Jon! These look great. The skeleton shadowy eyes is wonderful! Plus the celtic armbands. And the cleric's mace. Bam!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words, Shane and Paul.
ReplyDeleteOh, come on, John. I bet you can take 'em!

Cleric of the Frog God!! Ha ha! I get it!
ReplyDeletePlease draw a 1000 page comic book. Thank you.
so crazy awesome.
ReplyDeleteHa! A thousand pages, C'Red? I'll be happy with a couple dozen by the end of 2010. Page count aside, I'm flattered by your enthusiasm!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year's wishes to you, Josh. I look forward to new Atomic Terrier adventures!
